Dr. Sam Schrack is a Clinton County native and received a BS degree in Science from Hahnemann University and a BS degree in biology/chemistry from Lock Haven University. He received his medical degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines, Iowa. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and was a solo family physician in Williamsport for over 20 years, closing his private practice in 2011. His experience has also included emergency medicine, obstetrics, and nursing home medical director. His occupational medical experience included serving as company physician for many local businesses and industries, as well as a team physician for the Williamsport Crosscutters baseball team. Dr. Schrack is a Senior Airman Medical Examiner designated by the FAA to perform all classes of medical certification examinations as well as being designated as a HIMS AME. He is an instrument rated pilot and former aircraft owner. He retired from the Army and Air National Guard with the rank of Major. Dr. Schrack is active in the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physicians. He is a member of the Civil Aviation Medical Association, AOPA, Piper Owners Society, and has served as President of the Lycoming County Medical Society.
